Classes will be held at Scripps Ranch Theatre (9783 Avenue of Nations, San Diego, CA 92131) from 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm. Sunday sessions begin Oct. 29th. Monday classes begin Nov. 6th. The showcase is on February 12th, 2024.

Diversity and Inclusion Scholarship 2023 - 2024
Scripps Ranch Theatre is committed to increasing workplace and educational opportunities for diversity, equality, and inclusion. The SRT Diversity and Inclusion Scholarship assists diverse actors in pursuing acting training.
Application Process
Applicants should submit the following materials:

A personal statement of no more than 75 words that addresses the
following questions:

Why is diversity important to you?

What steps have you taken (or plan to take) to promote diversity in
your craft, community or profession?
• Please also include the names of two (2) references who can attest to your character and commitment.
Application Criteria

Authorized to work in the US
-
Member of a historically underrepresented group in the profession,
including actors who are (a) members of racial and/or ethnic minority groups, (b) LGBTQ (c) differently abled or (d) from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds.

Commitment to attendance and preparation. No unexcused absences. Deadline to Apply
Finished application must be received on or before October 29, 2023.
Awards are in the amount of $150 (50% of the price of the class).
